The Follett ITS500NS Ice Transport System is a high-capacity gravity-dispense ice storage and transport system designed for commercial food service environments. Built to improve speed, sanitation and ergonomics, it accommodates large volumes of ice, dispenses directly into the included SmartCART™ 240 transport cart, and is compatible with cube, flake or Chewblet® ice types. The elevated bin design eliminates the need for manual scooping and heavy lifting, offering a safer and more efficient solution.

• Elevated stainless steel storage bin uses gravity to dispense ice through a chute — up to 15× faster than scooping.

• One-pull shutter or gate handle (cart fill) allows rapid dispensing of approximately 200 lb (91 kg) of ice into the SmartCART 240 without hand contact — reducing risk of cross-contamination.

• First-in, first-out (FIFO) design ensures fresher ice.

• Robust construction: full stainless steel exterior and base, corrosion-resistant poly liner for durability and ease of cleaning.

• SmartCART 240 insulated one-piece polyethylene cart, drains to bin when parked, reducing risk of ice pooling and promoting hygiene.

• Compatible with cube, flake and Chewblet® ice — offering flexibility.

• Ideal for back-of-house storage and transport to different usage points (e.g., catering halls, bars, customer service areas) – reducing manual lifting and improving staff ergonomics.

• Includes one, two or three SmartCART 240 ice transport cart(s) depending on model as well as a paddle with hanging bracket.
